Course Introduction

Spanning five modules, this beginner-level course covers basic equine digestive anatomy and physiology, forages, macronutrients, micronutrients, practical feeding management and nutrition-related health conditions. You’ll learn how to choose between different forages, feeds and supplements and how to adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of different horses, including performance athletes, growing foals, and those with specific health challenges.
