After growing up in the Willamette Valley outside of Salem, I spent several years teaching outdoor education in California before entering veterinary school. After graduating from the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis in 2002, I moved back to Oregon to practice small animal medicine in Salem. My family settled in Portland three years ago, and I am so happy to start practicing veterinary medicine in my community and ride my bike to work! My interests include internal medicine, preventative care, behavior support, and dentistry.

I live in Northeast Portland and share my home with two cats and an adorable, tiny chihuahua named Nutmeg. Outside of work, I love to garden, run, eat delicious food, see live music, and go on backpacking trips. I am also very excited to finally have Timbers season tickets after an 8-year wait!
