Comments

My horses diet/feed ration -overnight turnout on pasture (5pm -6:30am) -morning hay ration: 1 flake alfalfa and one large leaf of orchard grass hay and recently added 1/4 of leaf of wheat/oat hay -supplements: farriers formula and about 2 quarts of Elk Grove stable mix. My main objective is to help the condition of feet to have more integrity. I suspect she has thin soles. She is currently barefoot but used to have front shoes. I also have to keep in mind she most likely is susceptible to laminitis. I’ve owned her a little over a year and her feet show many fever lines prior to when I bought her. My plan is to also switch to Farriers Formula DS plus joint since she is now 17 and hoping the plus joint will help with beginning arthritis
