Comments

I live in northern New Hampshire. My horse eats hay 3 times per day amounting to about 20 pounds. He has always struggled with his feet. He has week brittle walls that struggle to hold nails and thin soles. I have owned him a little over 5 years and have tried many things but without much success. He is almost always lame in the summer months from stomping at fly’s even with a fly sheet and boots on. So far for hoof supplements so have tried NU hoof maximizer, grand hoof, smart hoof ultra, biotin, and farriers formula double strength (he is currently on this but I have not seen any improvement). He is also currently on a Maintenance dose of Cosequin.
