Biography
Considered to be Canada’s “king of half-mile racing,” Trevor Henry is a highly successful standardbred driver and trainer hailing from Arthur, Ontario. For about as long as he can recall, Trevor Henry has been racing standardbreds, starting at his father’s Wellington County farm as a teen, and then graduating to smaller race tracks like Peterborough, Barrie and Clinton.
Trevor currently runs a busy standardbred training stable in Arthur, Ontario, and began racing at Woodbine and Mohawk full-time in late 2014, becoming a regular there. Lifetime, he has driven in 25,625+ races, accumulated 4,740+ wins and driven horses to earnings in excess of $30 million+.
To Trevor, two things make all of the hard work worth the effort: Love of the sport, and winning. Trevor doesn’t doesn’t see himself slowing down on the track any time soon!
