About Maia Chaput, APF-I PHCP
Maia Chaput is a certified hoof care practitioner, mentor, and clinician for the international non-profit education body Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners and is also APF-I accredited through the International Association of Professional Farriers. Maia has a diploma in graphic design and digital photographic imaging from Concordia University and combines these skill sets to provide high-quality visual, and hands-on learning opportunities for professional students and horse owners. Maia approaches hoof care using a whole-horse philosophy, which integrates the pillars of nutrition, education and preventive care. Maia is also fluently bilingual in French and English and brings her skills to Mad Barn in the role of French translator to assist nutritionists with client communication.
