Abby Matthaeus, DVM

Dr. Abby Matthaeus grew up in Western Washington. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle and received a bachelors degree in Biology and Psychology. She then attended Washington State University where she received her doctorate of veterinary medicine. After graduating from WSU, Abby moved to Boise and spent a year as an intern veterinarian at Idaho Equine Hospital. After completing her internship, she moved to Idaho Falls to join the team at Willowcreek Animal Hospital. She is particularly interested in equine lameness and sports medicine but enjoys working with all animals. In her free time, Abby enjoys riding her horse, dirt biking, hunting, fly-fishing, and spending time outdoors. (source)
