Dr. Abby Brown grew up in Pearl City, IL and currently resides in Rockford, IL. She received an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University, and earned a DVM degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining the Dogwood Pet Hospital team, Dr. Brown practiced in Michigan and in Wisconsin. In addition to preventive care, Dr. Brown is interested in Surgery and Internal Medicine (especially GI cases).
In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys riding, showing her horse, baking, reading, and spending time with her 4 cats; (sir Ping Pong, Sir Paddle, Libby, and Toby), 2 dogs; (Raven and Milo), and 1 horse (Lily FF). Dr. Brown is also an avid hockey fan (GO HAWKS and ICEHOGS)! (Source)
