Alberto Parra-Sanchez is an assistant professor of Equine Surgery in the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health at Tuskegee University.

Dr. Parra-Sanchez graduated from the University of LaSalle School of Veterinary Medicine, Leon Guanajuato, Mexico in 1996.

Dr Parra completed a large animal medicine and surgery internship at in 2003 followed by a large animal surgical residency and a Master of Science in 2006 also at Auburn University.

The Large Animal Equine Surgery provides lameness examination, equine surgery, dentistry and general veterinary service for equine patients.
