Dr. Alexis Baney grew up in central Pennsylvania and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA for her undergraduate degree. She received her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a one-year veterinary internship at Brandon Equine Medical Center in Florida. Dr. Baney has a background in both small animal and equine medicine. She spent the last 6 years at Allegheny Equine in Murrysville PA. She has a special interest in dentistry and lameness. In her free time, Dr. Baney enjoys spending time with her family, attending agility competitions with her dogs, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding and traveling. (Source)
