Amanda Albrecht, RVT

Amanda was raised on a small farm west of Beiseker where horses were always a part of her life. She attended Olds College where she completed her Animal Health Technology program in 2010. After graduation, Amanda had the opportunity to travel to Australia where she worked at the Australian Zoo and Wildlife Hospital. She has worked in many areas of the veterinary industry including small and mixed animal and as a pharmaceutical rep. She joined the Moore Equine in 2016, working alongside Dr. Ashley Whitehead and Dr. Renaud Leguillette and now alongside Dr. Gillian Haanen. In 2021, after a yearlong delay due to Covid, Amanda completed all of the requirements and became the first technologist worldwide to achieve a Veterinary Technical Specialty in Equine Internal Medicine. When not at the clinic, you can find her barrel racing with her retired chuckwagon horse or competing in Cowboy Challenge with her QH gelding.
