Dr. Amelia Lee joined South Carolina Equine Associates in the summer of 2017. She is originally from Mount Vernon, Ohio where she grew up riding in the hunter/jumper ring and competing in a variety of other disciplines. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in 2012. She then stayed at Ohio State where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Following veterinary school, her interest in performance horses and internal medicine led her to complete a year long internship at The Equine Medical Center of Ocala in Florida. Her main interests are in internal medicine, ophthalmology and sports medicine. In her free time Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband Michael, and riding her horse Gillian. (Source)
