Amy Gau

Trainer and professional rider here at Christus Farm, Amy competed successfully as a junior rider, showing in pony hunters through the junior hunter, medal & equitation divisions, and junior jumpers. She rode with Geoff Teall in her last junior year and worked for Geoff after graduating from the junior divisions. Amy returned to the Northwest and established her professional career at Christus Farm; training, teaching, coaching, and showing horses for customers and for the Farm. Together with her sister Melissa Brotz, they have qualified their riders for regional and national finals in the hunter and equitation rings.

Amy successfully competes in the upper-level jumper rings, with Grand Prix wins in the past several years while bringing young horses along in both hunter and jumper divisions. She continues to ride, teach, and train both horses and riders with the positive, confidence-building approach that has made her an outstanding rider and trainer. (Source)
