Andrea McCarthy

Born and raised in Clark County, and a “horse girl” from day one, officially starting my horse career at the age of five. I’ve spent time in barrel racing (my favorite), gaming, team & breakaway roping, goat tying, drill team, team penning, Quarter horse racing, English, a little jumping, and breaking babies.

Another passion of mine is fitness. I’ve been working as a personal trainer certified by American Counsel on Exercise since 2015.

To my surprise, equine massage & personal training parallel each other. Horses have biceps, triceps, pectorals, hamstrings, glutes, etc. just like humans. Dig a little deeper and the joints and muscles move and function the same as well. Massage affects horses like us too! Reduction in muscle tightness, removal of toxins within the muscles, improved blood flow & circulation to repair/restore muscles, better range of motion, and relaxation that relieves tension. Relaxing the muscles around your horse’s joints improves the range of motion within those joints. Your horse will be more free, limber, and preform at a higher level. It’s amazing!
