Andy Freseth was born near Eau Claire, WI and was raised by his grandparents Harry and Beulah Curtis. Andy began his association with horse by training Shetland ponies and working as a stable boy on a quarter horse farm. After his exposure of working a few saddlebreds, Andy had a desire to learn to work a 5-gaited horse so he contacted Keith Bartz of Hollow Haven Farm in Chanhassen, MN to inquire about doing an internship under Bob Jensen. From intern, to assistant, to trainer, Andy found himself to be the trainer and owner of Hollow Haven in 1985. (Source)
