Dr. Frederickson graduated from the VA MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She was able to concentrate mostly on equine medicine in vet school. She is most passionate about equine dentistry, but also enjoys ophthalmology and general preventive medicine. Growing up she found any way she could to ride and take care of horses: earning riding lessons by working at a neighborhood farm and volunteering for therapeutic riding centers.
Today she enjoys trail riding on her 23 year old Belgian-Standardbred cross, sometimes with her three children and their ponies: Tinkerbell and Emmy. She lives at a small farm with her husband, those three children along with 2 dogs, one elderly cat, and 11 chickens. (Source)
