Dr. April Adams is a Louisiana native who recently relocated to Montana. After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, she worked in the field of child welfare, but her lifelong compassion for animals led her back to school where she completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with a mixed animal concentration at Louisiana State University. After practicing in small animal medicine and surgery, she set her sights on slightly larger species and transitioned into equine medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Adams enjoys reading, Cajun cooking, and learning musical instruments that she will never play in public. (Source)
