Dr. Ashleigh Davis-Bergsohn (we just call her Dr. Davis) was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After completing her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in 2008, she spent a year researching in the lab of Dr. Alan Nixon, an equine orthopedic surgeon at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Davis received her DVM from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 and continued to pursue her passion for equine medicine and surgery as an intern at Reid and Associates in Wellington, FL.
After her intern year, she married and moved with her husband and their 3 cats to New Jersey where she worked as an equine ambulatory practitioner. For the past 3 years, she has been the Supervising Veterinarian at Monticello Raceway. (Source)
