Dr. Ashley Davenport is a Georgia native where she was introduced to horses at a young age and grew up riding. She attended Young Harris College and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. Davenport then attended veterinary school at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She went on to complete a one-year equine internship at Brandon Equine Medical Center in Brandon, Florida. Dr. Davenport’s professional interests include sports medicine and rehabilitation, podiatry and theriogenology. Dr. Davenport is still active in the dressage ring and enjoys participating in dog sports, including agility and frisbee, with her Australian Shepherd, Cooper. (Source)
