Dr. Ashley Misner grew up and currently resides in Hartville, Ohio. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Akron and earned a DVM degree from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining the Stark Animal Hospital team, Dr. Misner practiced in Berlin and Louisville, OH. Her special interests include general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, and canine & equine reproduction.
Dr. Misner’s passion outside of work is anything involving horses, such as participating in parades, trail rides, and shows, and is very passionate about promoting the Paso Fino breed. She also enjoys attending car shows with her husband Joe, and caring for six horses (Rambo, Al, Esperanza, India, DD, and Izzy), two pittie mixes (Bruiser & Ivy), two Nubian goats (Gump & Jenny), two barn cats (Itty Bitty & Heathen), and “just a few” chickens!
