Ashley Schwartz, DVM

Dr. Ashley Schwartz is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She grew up in a home with 3-4 Llewellin Setters at any given time, but her childhood dog was a Border Collie mix named Ebony. It was her relationship with Ebony that peaked her desire to become Veterinarian and help animals.

After her time in the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Schwartz graduated from Colorado State University, majoring first in Biology and continuing for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Schwartz is trained in acupuncture and alternative modalities and uses them to treat a wide variety of diseases and disorders. Her medical interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventive medicine, Integrative medicine, nutrition and arthritis therapy. Dr. Schwartz incorporates different alternative modalities and different schools of thought to help your pet.

Dr. Schwartz lives with her partner, Gretchen, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Outside of the workplace, Dr. Schwartz can be found relaxing by a pool with her pups, Lucy and Kaiser. She also enjoys fly-fishing and snowboarding. (Source)
