Ashley Vanderburgh-Oakley, DVM

Ashley grew up in Ontario and could often be found riding at an eventing barn in the greater Toronto area. Her grandfather fostered her love of all things equine from an early age, especially for Thoroughbreds. Her lifelong ambition of becoming a veterinarian led her to St. George’s University of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean, and she then completed her fourth year clinical training at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan. Between graduation and starting her internship at Westhills, Ashley spent time with an ambulatory practitioner as well as time at an equine referral hopsital. In her free time, Ashley enjoys riding dressage, spending time with her husband and daughter and binging HBO with her cat. (Source)
