The Blackhawk Equestrian Riding Academy offers English riding lessons and coaching to children (7 and older) and adults. The goal of our program is to teach students how to ride, handle and groom horses safely and to the best of their ability as well as continue to build success for advanced riders. Our quality lesson horses and ponies are selected for their generous dispositions and safe manners to help students learn the fundamentals of riding from beginner to the intermediate and advanced levels. Learning to jump over a course of jumps is included in the lesson program for those who wish and are able to. Jumping is not required and the extensive nature of horse riding offers many other riding opportunities. (Source)
