Brandon Gates was born at Fort Sill Army Base in Oklahoma and raised in Texas. He received his degree in Animal Science and completed veterinary school at Colorado State University. He also completed an internship in livestock medicine and surgery and continued into a residency in comparative theriogenology (animal reproduction) at Oklahoma State University. His special interests include reproduction (neonatology and obstetrics), preventive medicine, infectious disease, toxicoloty, hospice/palliative care, and integrative medical therapies. He is certified in animal chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association and veterinary medical acupuncture through CuraCore Veterinary Academy.
In his spare time, he enjoys rafting, hiking, camping, biking, fly fishing, playing sports, working with his Deutsch Kurzhaar, and enjoying all the Flathead has to offer with his family. (Source)
