Brian Biggers, DVM

Dr. Biggers grew up in the Southern California town of Lancaster, where he participated in sports at Quartz Hill High School (football, basketball and baseball) and he raised/showed a variety of animals in his local 4-H club, including sheep, beef, swine and poultry. He attended Lubbock Christian College for two years where he participated on the school’s Livestock Judging Team and studied Animal Science and Ag Business. He then transferred to CSU-Fresno where he received his BS in Animal Science – PreVet in 1983. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University, earning a MS degree in Animal Science: Physiology in 1986 and DVM degree in 1990. After 7+ years in large animal practice, Dr Biggers founded Equine Veterinary Services in 1997, servicing North Central Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. The focus of the practice is general equine health, chiropractic, dentistry, acupuncture, Class 4 Laser Therapy and reproduction. Dr Biggers is a member of the AVMA, AAEP, IVMA AND IAEP. He has served as a board member of the IVMA and IAEPfor several years, including president for the IAEP. He has licenses in Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Arkansas and California.
