Brian Keith, DVM

With a passion for cattle right from the beginning, Brian grew up on his family’s hobby beef farm in Cobden, Ontario. Brian was an active 4-H member, participating in the Dairy Club for five years. While living on the farm, Brian was successful in developing his own small cow/calf herd. His eight years of working on a local dairy farm also contributed to his knowledge and keen interest in the dairy and beef industry. Brian obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Physiology. During this time he studied the controlled breeding program “Ovsynch”. Brian continued his education at the Ontario Veterinary College, graduating in 2006. In 2007 he joined the Prescott Animal Hospital/Rideau-St. Lawrence Veterinary Services team and has since become an owner/partner in the organization. His special interests include health management and preventative medicine, as well as bovine reproduction. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing hockey, baseball and golf. Brian, his wife Deena and their daughter Madeline reside in Prescott with their cat “Frisco”. (Source)
