Brianne Griffith, DVM

Dr. Griffith is a 2009 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. Perth is her hometown where she grew up on a dairy farm. She always dreamed of being a vet from the age she could follow Dr. Scott through the barn and care for all the four-legged creatures on the farm.

After her high school co-op placement at the Perth Veterinary Clinic, she secured a part time job here, working after school and on weekends, at both the Perth and Westport Clinics. Her desire to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine became stronger after her experience with the team at the clinic and she was accepted to OVC after two years of undergraduate study at the University of Guelph. After graduation, she spent 8 years in large animal practice in before returning to Perth in 2017 to expand her career in to mixed animal practice. She became a partner in the practice in 2019. At the Perth Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Griffith splits her time between large animal and companion animal appointments and surgery. She is passionate about providing the best care to animals of all sizes and appreciates the strong human-animal bond that people share with their pets (both large and small!)

Dr. Griffith, her husband and two young daughters live in the country on the outskirts of town and enjoy spending time with all their furry friends, including dogs, cats, pony, donkey and goat! (Source)
