Brittany I. Smith, DVM MSc

Dr. Brittany Smith was raised on a mixed farm in Bentley AB, where she grew up involved in 4H and Pony Club and helping on the farm. She developed an interest in research and cattle nutrition during her undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, she went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in ruminant nutrition while working for the bovine field service department at the WCVM. Her clinical interests include all aspects of bovine practice, with special interests in herd health, applied research and the relationship between nutrition and animal health.

She joined the SWAHC team in March of 2016, and is very much enjoying getting to meet our great clients and explore southern Saskatchewan with her dogs Deetz and Jim! (Source)
