Brittland Hughes, DVM

Britt grew up in Ohio, riding horses since she was 4 years old. She became involved in the hunter/jumper circuit and decided to attend University of Kentucky for undergraduate studies in equine science and management. While in Lexington, she worked as a veterinary technician at both Hagyard and Rood and Riddle Equine Hospitals. Going back to her buckeye roots, Britt attended veterinary school at the Ohio State University and then completed an equine internship at Palm Beach Equine Hospital in Wellington, Florida. She was offered a position as a private equine veterinarian at a thoroughbred training facility in Colts Neck, New Jersey. She continued working on racehorses at Palm Meadows training facility in Florida before joining the team at Greenock Farm Vet Hospital. Britt enjoys riding, running, biking, paddle boarding, and hiking with her family near Clemson. She has a 26 year old horse named Lucky that is her big dog and she has two cats, Niko and Bumper.
