Dr. Viren obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1982. He and his wife Dr. Cindy Sellin started River Valley Veterinary Service in 1984. Dr. Viren is involved in the Equine and Small animal departments at River Valley. His special interests include dentistry, endoscopy, ultrasound and general surgery in both departments. He enjoys sport activities like basketball, volleyball, adventure racing, and loves to go camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. (Source)
