Dr. Caitlyn Ramaeker earned her veterinary degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation, she moved to Minnesota for a year where she completed an equine internship. Following her internship, Dr. Ramaeker moved to a mixed animal practice in rural Illinois where she worked on a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. She has especially enjoyed building the equine clientele at the clinic but also loves the variety of mixed animal practice and building relationships with clients and their pets. In her free time, Dr. Ramaeker enjoys spending time with her husband and chocolate lab, hiking, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones! Dr. Ramaeker joined FirstVet in 2021. (Source)
