Dr. Meers grew up right outside of Zanesville, OH where she gained her love of horses at a very young age, and acquired her first horse at age 12. She was always involved in 4-H with her horses, as well as market hogs and dairy cattle. She took a liking to barrel racing during high school and traveled all over the United States competing for a few years. Dr. Meers recently married her best friend, Sean, and their home is filled with 3 dogs; a Golden Retriever, a Toy Australian Shepherd, and a rescue who appears to be a mix of those two! Needless to say, she has a passion for all 4-legged creatures.
Dr. Meers attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and continued her learning at Ohio State for an extra year in an Equine Field Service Internship, where she specifically refined her equine skills. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary care, but specifically enjoys surgery, small animal dentistry, equine sports medicine and animal chiropractic.
Additionally, Dr. Meers completed her certification for Chiropractic in 2021 and is excited to offer this service to help our patients lead happier lives through adjustments. (Source)
