Born and raised in Alliance, Dr. Calvin Tolstedt received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007 from Kansas State University. Dr. Tolstedt received his Bachelor’s of Arts and Science in Biology from Hastings College. Dr. Tolstedt was raised on a pure bred Black Angus cow-calf operation in Sheridan County and continues to have an interest in beef cattle genetics, reproduction and artificial insemination. At this point in his career, Dr. Tolstedt still enjoys the daily challenges of working with both livestock and companion animals. His special interests include, but are not limited to; orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery and ultrasound technology. (Source)
