Carol H. Akers, DVM

Carol grew up on her family’s ranch northwest of Junction, TX, raising sheep, goats, beef cattle, and horses, and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She worked in private practice in several different states for 20 years and then completed a three-year dental residency at the University of Illinois. She loves to work on the teeth of any species except humans, and has a special interest in maxillofacial and oral surgery and in all aspects of equine dentistry, especially the oral care of geriatric horses.
