Carolyn is a native of Southeastern Michigan and a life-long horse enthusiast. She attended Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduate in 1998. She completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky followed by a surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. Following a year long Lectureship at Texas A&M, she became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2003. She served as an assistant professor of Equine Surgery at Kansas State from 2003-2005. Carolyn came back to Texas in 2006 as an assistant professor. Her clinical focus is Soft Tissue Surgery with an emphasis on urogenital surgery. (Source)
