Dr. Mike Sheffield received his DVM degree from Texas A & M University in 1985. He did his undergraduate work at Texas A & I (now Texas A & M, Kingsville). Dr. Sheffield began his professional career in the Rio Grande Valley. He then moved to the Dallas area and spent two years there in a mixed animal practice. In 1990 Dr. Sheffield moved to Wimberley and started Wimberley Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Sheffield is married and has a son. He has three horses, two dogs, three cats and four fish. (Source)
