Charlotte Tate, DVM

Dr. Tate is a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After vet school, she accepted an internship at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. During her internship she broadened her knowledge base in medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care with additional elective rotations in the Sports Medicine and Imaging Departments. At the conclusion of her internship she accepted a position with North Atlantic Equine Associates in New Jersey where she worked at Monmouth and Belmont racetracks. Dr. Tate found that working within the Thoroughbred racing industry furthered her practical knowledge due to the volume and diversity of the cases that she managed. Dr. Tate is very interested in lameness and diagnosis in the equine athlete and because of this interest she has focused much of her continuing education toward lameness diagnostics and imaging. She has completed courses in ultrasound guided injection techniques as well as advanced courses in ultrasounding the distal limb. She has completed training in veterinary chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, TX. (Source)
