Travelling the short distance to Raleigh, Dr. Miller obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she focused on equine medicine and surgery. Dr. Miller then pursued a post-doctoral internship at the internationally renowned New Bolton Center – the University of Pennsylvania’s large animal campus in Kennett Square, PA. Dr. Miller knew that the New Bolton Center was the perfect place for her as it has one of the highest case loads of any academic large animal hospital in the United States, seeing approximately 6,000 large animal cases per year, and offering the most advanced veterinary care available.
