Cheryl grew up in an RCMP family where they moved all over Saskatchewan. After high school she went to Brandon University to obtain her Bachelor of Science, then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her veterinary degree, Cheryl did an internship focusing on large animal internal medicine. Since then she has spent her time in mixed animal practice, focusing on equine care. Cheryl maintains a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry and ophthalmology. In her spare time Cheryl enjoys riding and showing her horses in reining. (Source)
