Chris Robertson grew up in Madison County, VA and graduated from Madison County High School in 1985. He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA graduating in 1989 with a B.S. degree in Biology. In 1990 Chris entered the Louisiana State University School Of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 1994. Dr. Robertson had now achieved his lifelong dream of becoming an equine veterinarian. After three and a half years working in North Carolina and another three and a half in the Richmond, VA area Dr. Robertson returned home to Madison, VA where in 2001 he established Blue Mountain Equine Service, Inc. .
Blue Mountain Equine grew from a dream, a truck, and a home office into a successful equine practice. As his business grew so did his family. His daughter Theadora Lee was born in 2001 and his son Christopher Michael James was born in 2003. With the help of his loving wife Virginia “Jennie”, Dr. Robertson’s family and practice has continued to grow. (Source)
