Dr. Miller is a native of Sullivan County with family here and in Maryland. She graduated from veterinary school from the University of Tennessee in 1992. She completed an equine internship at Kansas State University in 1993, and a residency in equine surgery. Dr. Miller earned her Master’s degree from the University of Missouri in 1997, obtained board certification in large animal surgery, and worked in Kansas and Missouri before returning to Tennessee. She and her family enjoy riding, water activities, gardening, reading and traveling. Special interests include all types of equine surgeries and wound healing. (Source)
