A Massachusetts native, Dr. Carnes moved to Longmont in 2004, and earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2010. While at CSU, she received additional training to become a certified veterinary acupuncturist. She has owned Olde Towne Medical Center since November of 2019, and currently resides in Longmont with her husband and kids, as well as her old man cat Zeus and tripod Cooper. (Source)
