Dr Crystal Fisher knew from an early age growing up in The Pas, Manitoba that she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, after which completing a 1 year internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at Moore Equine near Calgary, Alberta. She moved to the Cariboo in 2004, where she made a home with her husband, Ben and her son, Rhys. When Dr Fisher is not working, you can find her riding one of her reining horses from her breeding program. (Source)
