Dr. Dale Stapleton grew up in northern California riding Quarter horses on his family’s cattle ranch and participating in team roping events. After working as a firefighter and EMT, he returned to school and graduated from the University of Missouri. In 2017, he will complete his 26th year as an equine practitioner. He has worked in Michigan, Alabama, Illinois and Wisconsin before joining FVEP.
Dr. Stapleton is also an officer in the US Army Reserve. He recently completed a deployment in Kuwait, where he was responsible for training Kuwaiti military veterinarians at the Equestrian Center Veterinary Clinic, as well as caring for military working dogs at two military bases.
Dr. Stapleton enjoys all aspects of equine practice, with a specialty in reproduction. Dr. Stapleton has a son and three daughters with his wife, Anna. (Source)
