Dallas Wedel

Dallas grew up on a farm in Kansas and has been training horses professionally since 1999, with his focus on reining since 2005. He was drawn to reining because the horsemanship required in the sport is like no other, and enjoys the connection between horse and rider.

Dallas believes strongly in molding well-rounded horses. His training mantra is “keep it simple” and his training programs are always tailored to fit the unique needs of the horse. In addition to reining, Dallas specializes in colt starting and challenging horses. He also has a lesson horse perfect for beginner Reiners.

Dallas has shown all over the country and is currently the only Category 1 Intermediate Open Rider in Orange County. Perhaps his most notable achievement in competition was placing in the top 10 at the North American Affiliate Championships Novice Horse Open L1 on Bee A Gangster in 2010. (Source)
