Danny was raised in western North Carolina and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University in 1991. The college was recently ranked as one of the top four colleges of veterinary medicine in the nation. After graduation, he practiced in Wisconsin and Texas before moving to Jerome, Idaho and opening Magic Valley Equine Service. In 2003 he was recruited by Idaho Equine and joined the practice, primarily as a mobile vet. In 2011 he started his own practice again as Borders Equine Clinic. (Source)
