Native to Southwest Louisiana, I grew up on a 1,500-acre cattle ranch and spent weekends traveling the rodeo road. My love for animals and passion for veterinary medicine started very early as I am a second-generation veterinarian.
I received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from McNeese State University and then called Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) home for veterinary school. Until this point in my career I have enjoyed practicing mixed animal medicine in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
While not working, I enjoy spending time with my animals (dogs and horses), competing in barrel races and rodeos, and spending time with friends and family. I am super excited to call Texas home and cannot wait to meet and serve the clients of Independence Equine and Small Animal! (Source)
