Dr. Darren Weiss grew up in Pflugerville, Tx. He attended undergrad at Texas State University and received his BS in Veterinary Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Weiss attended veterinary school at Texas A&M, and he graduated Cum Laude in 2001.
After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Weiss returned to central Texas and began his career as a veterinarian with Bastrop Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Weiss had the opportunity to become an owner in 2004.
Outside of Bastrop Vet, Dr. Weiss enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, sons, Dawson and Dylan, and their 5 year old black Lab, Marley. In his free time he enjoys taking care of his cows, hunting, and offshore fishing. He also enjoys traveling with trips to Costa Rica, Mexico, the Florida Keys, and the Caribbean being especially memorable. (Source)
