Dr. David Gilchrist is a 2006 graduate of the University College Dublin, Ireland College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, he began his internship with Lone Star Park Equine Hospital. He continued to work with LSPEH after his internship as an associate until December 2008. During his time at our hospital, Dr. Gilchrist received accreditation through the AVMA and obtained his D.V.M. status.
After working in Ireland in 2009, Dr. Gilchrist returned to LSPEH as an associate in January 2010 to help us provide ambulatory services/farm calls for the greater DFW area while continuing to see appointments at LSPEH as well. Dr. Gilchrist rode show jumpers in Ireland from an early age and from this experience has a great interest in equine sports medicine and lameness. (Source)
