Dr. David Meyer is the owner of Vivian Animal Hospital. Dr. Meyer was born in Vivian, La, and as a young boy his family moved to Haughton, La. He is a high school graduate of Haughton High School and went on to graduate from Centenary College in 1978 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He then decided to follow his life’s dream of becoming a veterinarian. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Louisiana Tech University, then attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1987. Geaux Tigers!
After graduating, Dr. Meyer worked at Benton Animal Hospital before returning to Vivian and opening his own practice in 1988. He enjoys working on all animals, great and small. (Source)
